1. About these terms

These terms apply to danwheelerplumbing.com, run by Dan Wheeler Plumbing & Heating, a business owned by Dan Wheeler. In these terms, “we” and “us” mean Dan and his business. By using this website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website. You can still call us at (978) 726-4656.

2. What this website is

This website gives information about Dan’s plumbing and heating services, shows photos of his work, and lets you send a quote request. It is not a store. You cannot book, buy, or pay for anything on it.

3. A quote request is not a booking

Sending the quote form asks Dan to contact you. It does not book an appointment, hold a time for you, or create a contract. Every request is emailed to Dan, but he cannot promise when he will call back. If your problem is urgent, call (978) 726-4656.

4. Estimates and the final price

Any price Dan gives you before the work starts is an estimate, unless he agrees in writing that it is a fixed price. The price, the scope of the work, the schedule, and how you pay are agreed with Dan directly, not through this website. Conditions found once work begins, such as hidden damage, can change the price. Nothing on this website is an offer to do work at a set price.

5. Where we work

We serve Middlesex County, Massachusetts. We may decline requests from outside that area. We do not offer services in New Hampshire or Maine at this time.

6. Licensing

This website describes Dan as a “Licensed MA Journeyman Plumber”. That is the license this website states. Any other license, insurance, or bonding applies only if it is stated on this website or confirmed by Dan in writing. You can check a Massachusetts plumbing license through the Massachusetts Division of Occupational Licensure.

7. Photos and content

The photos on this website show Dan’s own work. Each job is different, so your job may not look the same. The recommendation shown is one customer’s own words.

The text, photos, and logo on this website belong to Dan Wheeler Plumbing & Heating. You may view them and share links to this website. Please do not copy the photos or text for any business use without our written permission.

Photos you send us

Only send a photo you took or have the right to share. By sending one, you let Dan use it to understand and quote your job. He will not post it publicly without asking you first.

8. Using the quote form

Use the form only to ask for real plumbing or heating work. Please do not:

  • give false details, or someone else’s details without their permission
  • send advertising, spam, or automated submissions
  • upload anything other than a photo of the problem, or anything illegal, offensive, or harmful
  • try to break, overload, or get around the website’s security or limits

The form accepts up to 5 requests per hour from one connection. We may block or delete requests that break these rules.

9. The website itself

We try to keep this website accurate and working, but we provide it “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no promises about the website itself, including that it is error free, up to date, always available, or fit for a particular purpose. This section is about the website only, not about any work Dan does for you.

The information here is general. It is not advice for your own home. Do not attempt gas or heating repairs based on this website. If you smell gas, leave the building and call your gas company or 911 from outside.

10. Limits on liability for the website

To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses that come from using this website or from it being unavailable. To the extent the law allows, our total responsibility for any claim about the website itself is limited to $100.

This section does not limit our responsibility for plumbing or heating work. That is governed by what you agree with Dan and by the law. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have that the law does not allow to be limited by agreement.

11. Links to other websites

This website may link to other websites, such as the website of Elevare Studio, which built this site. We do not control other websites and are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.

12. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect through this website and what we do with it.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, where we do our work. Any dispute about this website will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Massachusetts. This does not stop either of us from using small claims court where it is available.

14. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we will post the new version on this page with a new version number and effective date. Changes apply to use of the website after they are posted. They do not change anything you have already agreed with Dan about a job.
